The lack of a true G-Sync is disappointing, but dedicated hardware modules for the technology are all but found in the most expensive 1080p monitors, so selection is limited. It will work with G-Sync at a refresh rate between 50Hz and 240Hz. This is a G-Sync compatible monitor, meaning it supports the lowest level of the G-Sync standard. The monitor has great color accuracy, outstanding motion clarity, and a good contrast ratio (for an IPS panel, at least).
It earns the nod largely on its image quality, which was excellent in our testing. The Acer Predator XB253Q GW remains our go-to recommendation for a mid-range 1080p gaming monitor. Screen Size: 24.5” | Aspect Ratio: 16:9 | Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 | Panel Type: IPS G-Sync Compatible | Brightness: 400 cd/m2 | Refresh Rate: 280Hz | Response time: 1ms | Inputs: 2x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 4x USB Type-A, Audio out Acer Predator XB253Q GW Best 1080p G-Sync Gaming Monitor Budget competitive gamers won’t care, however, as it’s motion clarity, not image quality, that matters most. The downside? Image quality is not great and viewing angles are limited. You’ll have a smooth experience in most games if you’re using a card as quick as the Nvidia GTX 1650, or quicker. However, the monitor supports any refresh rate between 48Hz and 144Hz, providing a broad frame rate target. This monitor is G-Sync Compatible, the least strenuous of the G-Sync standards available. It’s barely more expensive than a boring 24-inch, 60Hz office monitor. This 23.8-inch, 1080p, 165Hz monitor uses a TN panel to shave the price below $200. The Asus VG248QG proves you don’t need to spend a fortune for a smooth gaming experience.
Screen Size: 23.8” | Aspect Ratio: 16:9 | Resolution: 1,920 x 1,080 | Panel Type: TN FreeSync Premium and G-Sync Compatible | Brightness: 350 cd/m2 | Refresh Rate: 165Hz | Response time: 1ms | Inputs: 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, Audio out Asus VG248QG Best Budget G-Sync Gaming Monitor It doesn’t have a Nano IPS panel, though, and is only G-Sync compatible. Budget shoppers might go for the very similar XG270Q, which is about $200 less. Though pricey, the ViewSonic Elite XG270QG is among the less expensive G-Sync monitors in its category. It’s a sturdy display with a great stand and, unlike some rivals, its design doesn’t scream “I’m a gaming monitor!” The monitor can work as a USB hub for up to three wired USB-A peripherals. It uses a Nano IPS panel with an extremely wide color gamut, great color accuracy, and a high maximum brightness (although it does not support HDR).
The monitor also stands out for its image and build quality. The result is a superbly smooth gameplay experience. It offers a 27-inch display with 1440p resolution and a true G-Sync module that can handle any refresh rate between 1Hz and 165Hz. Viewsonic’s Elite XG270Q is an excellent G-Sync gaming monitor that ticks all the right boxes. This is not a company that I would recommend.Screen Size: 27” | Aspect Ratio: 16:9 | Resolution: 2,560 x 1,440 | Panel Type: G-Sync | Brightness: 350 cd/m2 | Refresh Rate: 165Hz | Response time: 1ms | Inputs: 1x HDMI, 1x DisplayPort, 3x USB, Audio out I spent most of my time training unqualified new hires. ProSync is clearly more concerned about putting a body in a seat than providing qualified personnel for their customers. Most of the employees on the team I was a part of were promised promotions within a year as an incentive when they were hired and these never came to fruition. Recruiting/staffing routinely lies on resumes and then expects the employee to be able to perfom in a postion for which they are clearly not qualified. An inappropriate relationship between two of the managers is blatent and adds to the uncomfortable corporate environment. The corporate employees look like beaten dogs most days and for those on contract, it is learned quickly that the best strategy is to stay away from the company office. At best, it is a hostile work envrionment. The leadership screams, uses profanity and routinely insults employees. The management style at ProSync can be described as nothing short of bullying.
